Bang & Olufsen and Z by HP share the belief that creativity is one of the most positive, life-affirming forces. It can literally change our world. We teamed up to tap into this energy, to inspire and celebrate the power of the imagination and creativity.

Creation is built into everything that Bang & Olufsen does. Our heritage reaches back 95 years – that’s nearly a century of bringing our vision into the world, making the impossible possible. We think Z by HP are fellow travelers in the story of the imagination, so we’ve teamed up with them, complementing their powerful suite of tailor-made tools that enable the highest level of professional creative performance, to add the experience of powerful and immersive sound.

One of the first iterations of our collaboration, Amplify Creativity, happened at the influential Us By Night design festival in Antwerp, Belgium. Our collaborative installation featured an immersive experiential environment depicting the working process of the creative mind – thousands of lush ribbons clearing the visitor’s attention and focusing their minds. A soundscape enveloped those who stepped through the work – opening up into new creative spaces that featured recreations of the studios of film maker and designer Shane Griffin and typographer and designer Alex Truchet, both leading international practitioners in their field.
